Salmon and Trout Fishing in Lake Michigan, Frankfort Michigan

We fish Lake Michigan from the port of Frankfort Michigan for salmon and trout after completing our Walleye charters in June.

Chinook and Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Brown Trout and Steelhead are the prime species in this fishery.  

Frankfort and the surrounding area of Northwest Michigan including nearby Traverse City is great for vacations everyone will enjoy. There is shopping, camping, hotels, resorts, sandy beaches, golf, Wineries, Breweries, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and some of the most beautiful scenery around. So come with family, friends, or clients as there is something for everyone. 

•      Valid fishing license is required before boarding – no license required for children under 17 

•          We run two 5 hr. or limit trips daily – AM/PM Check with Captain on times

•           Sunset and Coastline scenic tours available

•           Full day 8 Hr. trips are available

•           Purchase a Michigan Fishing License

Fish are cleaned and bagged after each trip. You will need to bring a cooler with you to take your fish home in.

Purchasing your license in advance will save time and get you on the water sooner.

Rates:

$550 -1-4 Guests – Check with Captain if more than 4 prior to the trip

- 5 Hours or Limit Catch – Check with Captain for other times and prices

- All bait and tackle included

- Fish Cleaning also Included

$300 – Sunset and Coastline tour – 2 Hours – Check with Captain for times

- Its customary to tip your crew at the end of the charter for good service

A $100.00 NON-Refundable deposit is required to secure a date. A written confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your deposit. Please make checks payable to “Rig and Roll Charters”.  If you need to cancel the date 30 or more days before the trip, we will work with you to find another date. If that is not possible, we will refund your full deposit. If for any reason a trip needs to be canceled within 30 days, your deposit will be put towards a future trip or it will be forfeited. A full refund or re-booking will be honored if the charter is canceled by the captain due to weather, or mechanical problems.

We will make every effort to let you know in advance if we will be unable to fish on your day due to bad weather conditions, but please consider that weather forecasts are not always accurate.  Your safety and comfort is our top priority and the final decision is up to the Captain whether we fish, cancel, or re-book.  Payment for full trip is required before we leave the dock. We accept cash, checks, a 3% surcharge is added for credit cards.
